‘Excellent opening paragraph, hooking the reader in. The story has an old-fashioned feel to it, particularly the style of the prose. Descriptive but with lots of pace. Good ending which left me smiling. Design-wise, a well put together book. The inners are well designed but the cover! Oh my God! A big blobby mess is the best way to describe it. Note to publisher – change cover now and give the book a chance.’English teacher
